Mental Health Advisor

As a Student Mental Health Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students who experience mental health difficulties or dual diagnosis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students.
Job SummaryYou will be responsible for managing a caseload of students with mental health difficulties and developing interventions to support them. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of workshops/group sessions on student mental health.
Key Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in an appropriate discipline (Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Health, Psychology or Counselling)
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team in the NHS/local authority and a clinical capacity within a mental health setting
- The ability to manage situations that are difficult and sensitive in nature, including crisis intervention
