About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Assistant to join our team at the Hub. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a high-quality cleaning service, ensuring all public areas, including toilets, offices, café, studio, workshop, offices, and stairwells, are clean and tidy.
  • Carry out daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping floors, dusting surfaces, sanitizing touch points, removing cobwebs, cleaning windows, doors, signage, and lighting, and emptying bins.
  • Conduct daily cleaning supply checks and restock as required.
  • Perform daily cleaning equipment checks and request top-ups as needed.
  • Ensure a high standard of hygiene is maintained at all times.
Requirements
  • You will be enthusiastic, hard-working, and have excellent attention to detail.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent focus and attention to detail.
  • Skilled and enthusiastic in delivering an excellent standard of cleanliness.
  • Good knowledge and awareness of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
  • Previous experience of cleaning is essential; experience of cleaning in a commercial or public setting is desired.
  • A can-do attitude, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Motivated with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
