Job Description:

As a Reinsurance Technician with GB001 Marsh Ltd, you will be part of a global team supporting our varied client base. This is an opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with 2-3 days of remote work and the remaining days based in our Witham office.

This role is ideal for someone with professional/insurance or reinsurance experience looking to transition into the Reinsurance sector. You will work with Reinsurance professionals across the globe, gaining significant experience in a technical capacity for a Broker.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an assigned client portfolio, taking full responsibility of technical duties relating to client accounts, premiums and claims.
  • Promote, build and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets.
  • Participate in training sessions and provide input within the team and/or department for all aspects of reinsurance service processing to assist with troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • Professional/Insurance or Reinsurance experience and a desire to move into the Reinsurance sector.
  • Competent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Successful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations.
