Reinsurance Claims Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Reinsurance Claims Specialist to join our team at GB001 Marsh Ltd. As a key member of our Client Support Services department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client base through transactional processing and securing reinsurance recoveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an assigned client portfolio, taking full responsibility of technical duties relating to client accounts.
- Work with Market Fiduciary to assist with collection of funds.
- Manage all Pro Rata post, brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, ad hoc reporting requests, and all transactional process steps. This is inclusive of renewals.
- Promote, build and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets.
- Participate in training sessions and provide input within the team and/or department for all aspects of reinsurance service processing to assist with troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- Insurance/Reinsurance Premium/Claims experience, ie; handling cash loss/large loss and a desire to move into the Reinsurance sector.
- Competent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of technical account structure.
- Successful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations.
