Wedding and Special Events Manager

De Vere Beaumont Estate is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wedding and Special Events Manager to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional events and weddings that exceed our guests' expectations.

About the Role

This is a full-time role that involves working a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends. You will be responsible for managing the planning and execution of weddings and special events, from initial enquiry to the final event. You will work closely with our operational team to ensure that every detail is considered and that our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the planning and execution of weddings and special events
  • Conduct show rounds and meet with potential clients to showcase our venue
  • Communicate effectively with our operational team to ensure seamless event execution
  • Ensure that every detail is considered to deliver exceptional events and weddings
  • Work closely with our sales team to promote our venue and increase bookings
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a wedding coordinator or planner role, preferably in a 4-star quality hotel or events venue
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines
  • Confidence using IT software, including Opera
  • Passion for delivering exceptional events and weddings
