Wedding and Special Events Manager

De Vere Beaumont Estate is seeking a skilled Wedding and Special Events Manager to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for planning and executing unforgettable weddings and events that exceed our guests' expectations.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves working a variety of shifts, including weekends. You will be responsible for conducting show rounds, planning events from start to finish, and effectively communicating with our operational team to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute weddings and special events that meet and exceed our guests' expectations
  • Conduct show rounds and provide exceptional customer service to potential clients
  • Work closely with our operational team to ensure seamless execution of events
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure all event details are met
  • Manage event budgets and ensure profitability
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a wedding coordinator or planner role, preferably in a 4-star quality hotel or events venue
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Confidence using IT software, with familiarity with Opera software a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
