Wedding and Special Events Manager

De Vere Beaumont Estate, a 4-star hotel in Old Windsor, is seeking a skilled Wedding and Special Events Manager to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for planning and executing unforgettable weddings and events that exceed our guests' expectations.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our operational team to ensure seamless event execution, from initial planning to the final farewell. Your creativity, expertise, and passion for events will be valued and recognized.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate weddings and special events, including show rounds, venue tours, and event planning meetings
  • Work closely with our operational team to ensure event execution, including communication with vendors, suppliers, and guests
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers to ensure exceptional service and quality
  • Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics to ensure successful event execution
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to promote our events and venues
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a wedding coordinator or planner role, preferably in a 4-star hotel or events venue
  • Passion for events and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and colleagues
  • Confidence using IT software, with familiarity with Opera software a plus
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
