Role Description:
Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to join their Surgical Division for the Orthopaedics and Specialist Surgery Care Unit. This 12-month fixed-term contract offers an exciting opportunity to provide administrative support to the Clinical Director, Service Manager, and Senior Matron.
About the Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced clerical services, handling confidential information with strict confidentiality at all times. The post holder will work independently, prioritizing workload, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Clinical Director, Service Manager, and Senior Matron
- Handle confidential information with discretion
- Work under pressure, prioritizing workload, and managing multiple tasks
Required Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess GCSE level Maths and English qualifications, RSA 2 or equivalent, and relevant clerical experience. Previous experience within a healthcare environment is desirable. The successful applicant will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work as a team member, and awareness of confidentiality.
Salary and Benefits:
This role offers an estimated salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
