Accounting Operations Manager

Apleona, a respected facilities management services provider, seeks an experienced Accounting Operations Manager to lead our finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic company and contribute to its growth.

Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is between £50,000 and £65,000, based on experience. Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Accounting Operations Manager who can lead our finance team and provide strategic financial guidance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency;
  • Collaborating with the Finance Manager to prepare month-end P&L reports and analyse key performance indicators;
  • Reviewing and reconciling the monthly balance sheet to ensure accuracy and integrity;
  • Providing critical financial information to support business decisions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery;
  • Creating and processing month-end journals and adjustments, including intercompany transactions and recharges;
  • Preparing and reviewing Balance Sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness;
  • Evaluating potential opportunities and risks, identifying areas for improvement;
  • Coordinating and executing company recharges across all contracts, working closely with commercial teams;
  • Supporting and contributing to ad hoc projects as required.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant accounting qualifications (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or a strong desire to pursue this pathway;
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a finance team;
  • Ability to make informed strategic financial decisions, driving business growth;
  • Experience working in a busy office environment.
