Highway Construction Engineer

We are currently seeking a Highway Construction Engineer to join our team at Skanska UK Plc in Cambridgeshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced engineer to take ownership of site works and contribute to planning the construction of a 10-mile dual carriageway.
As a Highway Construction Engineer, you will be supported by the Section Engineer and will be responsible for ensuring that the works are constructed in accordance with the design and contract scopes. Your key responsibilities will include contributing to delivering Inspection and Test Plans for your works.
To succeed in this role, you will need a degree level qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience. You should also have formal training in Health & Safety and Environmental management, as well as competence with digital tools. A full UK driving licence is required for our highways projects, and you must have legal right to work in the UK.
The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.
