Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Team Leader to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable function and driving strategic improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a dedicated team of accounts receivable professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality results.
  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with other department managers to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements that drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with major stakeholders, including finance team leaders and other department managers.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Implement and maintain internal controls and compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and minimize risk.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to staff within the accounts receivable function and across the business.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Produce management information to drive strategic decision-making and deliver reports, schedules, and information to stakeholders within tight deadlines.
  • Problem Resolution: Manage and resolve potential problem accounts and escalate when necessary.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience managing an accounts receivable function, with a strong understanding of financial processes and systems.
  • Strategic Skills: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to drive improvement and enhance efficiency.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and OCR technology, with a high level of Microsoft Excel competency.
