About the Role

NHS Scotland is seeking an experienced General Practice Reception and Administration Professional to join our dynamic team. As a vital part of our front desk support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our busy reception area.

The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in general practice or a similar administrative role is desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Front Desk Support: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding promptly to queries and concerns.
  2. Administrative Tasks: Manage incoming correspondence, process prescriptions, and maintain accurate patient records.
  3. Team Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  4. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and suggesting solutions.

We offer a salary range of £20,000 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience.
