Mental Health Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Psychology or Criminology Graduate to join our team as a Mental Health Support Assistant at our specialist school in Guildford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to kick-start their career in the Mental Health Sector, supporting the well-being of vulnerable young people.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) principles and be able to work effectively with students who require additional support.
Job Description
- To provide one-to-one support to students with SEMH needs, developing strong relationships and trust
- To contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans
- To maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and parents/carers
