Mental Health Support Specialist

Academics Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing emotional support and guidance to students who require additional help in managing their mental health. This may involve developing personalized plans to address specific challenges and building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

A well-respected specialist school near Guildford is looking for a dedicated individual who can provide consistent support and care to students in need. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEMH needs and a strong understanding of the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment.

This full-time position offers an estimated salary range of £85-100 per day, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4pm, term time only. Excellent on-site training, support, and CPD are provided to ensure safeguarding of all students. A right to work in the UK is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs

  • Degree in Psychology, Criminology, Counselling, or related field
