Job Description: Team Manager for Learning Disabilities
Location: On-site position with available parking
About the Job:
This role involves managing a team of support workers and ensuring the smooth operation of a vital service. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to deliver high-quality care to individuals with learning disabilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Staff Supervision: Work directly with Support Workers to provide guidance and support
- Scheduling: Organise and oversee the staff rota to ensure proper coverage
- MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION: Monitor medication schedules and review support plans, ensuring they are signed off by the Operations Manager
- TRANSPORTATION: On-site parking is available, and you'll need to be a driver to attend appointments
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in health and social care
- Experience: Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities
- Skills: Strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills
