Head of Concierge Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Head of Concierge to lead our team of professionals in delivering exceptional lifestyle services to our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Effective Staff Management: Maintain a positive and motivating team environment, ensuring high standards of work and staff satisfaction.
  • Lifestyle Services Ambassador: Represent our brand and services with flair, promoting our values and services externally and internally.
  • Global Team Development: Build and structure a high-performing global team of Concierge professionals.
  • 24/7 Availability: Be available at all times to handle escalations and difficult situations, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Staff Training: Conduct induction training sessions for new staff, working closely with the Head of Front Office and Quality Department.
  • Department Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and monitor department performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Administrative Matters: Handle administrative tasks related to staff development and management, working closely with the Head of Personal Assistant & Board.
  • Reporting: Provide regular written reports to the Board and Head of Lifestyle Boutique on department performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Staff Development: Ensure staff are trained to high standards, enabling them to carry out their duties efficiently and safely.

Professional Requirements:

  • Luxury Environment: Possess a professional demeanor suitable for a luxury environment.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, with at least two additional European languages, including Italian, Portuguese, German, Spanish, and French; Mandarin knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 8 years' experience as Concierge/Front Desk Supervisor in luxury resorts and/or luxury brands, with ease in an office environment.
  • Detail-Oriented: Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills.
  • Task Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to listen, understand, and respond to member concerns.
  • Global Partnerships: Ability to build a global partner database, negotiate commissions, and secure best prices.
  • Pricing Policy: Create a pricing policy for our Lifestyle Boutique.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and stress tolerance skills.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Publisher.
