Mechanical Contracts Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited. As a Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of projects, estimating, procuring materials, meeting with contractors, and ensuring projects are carried out in line with budgets.

This is an autonomous role, where you will work closely with the Mechanical Project Manager and be responsible for the Mechanical division. You will split your time between the Preston office and sites across the North West.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical Engineering and experience as a Contracts Manager or similar. You will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with the Project Manager to ensure delivery of projects.
  • Procuring materials.
  • Conducting site visits to meet with sub-contractors.
  • Ensuring projects are carried out in line with costs/budgets.
