Rontec Roadside Retail Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Manager to join our team. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for the operations of our Morrisons Branded Forecourt sites within our Roadside Retail Network in Huddersfield and the surrounding area.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all sites in your area meet company standards and those of our brand partners, including passing auditing processes.
- Drive shop sales and site profitability.
- Prioritize compliance issues to ensure legal compliance and adherence to company procedures.
- Identify business opportunities for new stores and existing store developments.
- Analyze sales, audits, performance, and customer service standards to identify areas for improvement.
- Responsible for the successful opening and operation of new or refurbished stores in the area.
- Use control reporting to deliver performance improvements.
- Prioritize tasks to meet the varying requirements of each store and operator in your area.
- Complete business reviews with operators and assist them in identifying risks and potential within their business.
- Liaise with company departments to ensure consistent store operational standards and presentation.
- A Level education or equivalent, combined with at least two years of store retail management experience.
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on customer service.
- Strong customer focus and ability to see things from the customer's perspective.
- An enabling leadership style, able to develop and mentor others, and lead by example.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work smart.
- Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions.
- Drive, motivation, and willingness to challenge yourself and others.
- Flexibility and availability to meet the demands of an open-all-hours business.
