About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to work as a Pharmacy Manager, joining a highly reputable private hospital based in a state-of-the-art facility. The hospital has a wide range of specialties and procedures, including orthopaedics, gynaecology, cardio, and many more.
Key Responsibilities:
- The provision of exemplary pharmacy services in accordance with current legislation and clinical requirements.
- Provide advice to consultants, other clinicians, and patients on the safe and effective use of medicines.
- Ensure the safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of medicines across the hospital.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a pharmacy team to deliver high-quality services.
- Advise on the safe management of medicines to the hospital and its departments.
- Lead quality improvement projects and audits within pharmacy to ensure excellence in service delivery.
Requirements:
- Be a registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) with no restrictions or conditions on their registration.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
- At least 4 years of experience working as a pharmacist in a clinical setting in the UK.
- Managerial experience in a pharmacy setting in the UK is essential.
- Awareness and knowledge of oncology pharmacy.
- Excellent communication skills.
