Pharmacy Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Spire Dunedin Hospital. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the pharmacy team, ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines, and providing excellent patient care.
Main Responsibilities- Lead and manage the pharmacy team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and improve patient outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the pharmacy team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and ensure that the pharmacy team is aware of any changes or updates.
- Be a registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Have experience of working in a clinical setting as a pharmacist.
- Have leadership and management experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Have an awareness and knowledge of oncology pharmacy.
- Be able to work effectively in a team and communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
