Job Title: Special Needs Education Support Assistant

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Education Support Assistant to join our team at ODIN RECRUITMENT GROUP LIMITED. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to individuals with complex needs.

In this challenging yet rewarding position, you will work closely with our experienced SEN teaching team to deliver personalized support plans that cater to the unique needs of each individual. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting students with complex needs in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery to ensure seamless integration into mainstream education
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement, motivation, and progress
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in SEN

Requirements:
  • Experience working within a care or education setting (preferably with complex needs)
  • First-hand experience supporting children or young people with challenging behavior
  • Enthusiasm, determination, and resilience in the face of adversity
  • Empathy, self-awareness, and excellent communication skills

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 per annum
