Senior Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at The London Clinic. As a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting in the control of all invoices in circulation, carrying out timely payment runs, and monitoring accounting procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in controlling movement of all invoices in circulation.
- Carry out timely payment runs to meet deadlines agreed with the Accounts Payable Manager.
- Monitor all accounting procedures and control working closely with local management and administration staff.
- Assist in the monthly reconciliation of main supplier statements.
- Manage the AP Mailbox in the Manager's absence or at peak times.
- Support on projects.
- Be the main point of contact for development of new staff.
- Previous experience with a computerized accounting system.
- Previous administration experience within an accounting environment.
- Computer literacy.
- Numerical strength.
- A neat and methodical approach to clerical tasks.
