Job Summary:

The Inspired Education Group is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join its team in Queen Anne Street. As a key member of the accounting team, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring accurate and timely payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and code invoices through the accounting software, JD Edwards
  • Create new suppliers on the system and complete supplier bank verifications
  • Prepare payment runs every two weeks, including autopayments and manual payments
  • Assist with month-end accruals relating to invoices received not yet processed
  • Respond to supplier and staff queries via email and maintain up-to-date inboxes

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in a previous Accounts Payable role
  • JDE experience is desirable, but strong financial system experience is essential
  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Team player with a positive attitude and enthusiasm
