Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at The London Clinic. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and validity of transactions for goods and services processed and paid for through Purchase Ledger.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Accounts Payable department.
- Coordinate daily tasks and the working schedule of the Accounts Payable team.
- Establish and maintain effective inter-departmental working relationships, liaising regularly with business partners and non-clinical managers to ensure a high level of service is delivered and targets are met.
- Operate and maintain all department equipment and report any malfunctioning to the relevant contractor or department.
- Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
- GCSE Grade 5 or equivalent in Maths and English.
- Previous experience with a computerized accounting system.
- Previous administration experience within an accounting environment.
- A basic understanding of how an AP department works.
- Strong numerical skills.
- A neat and methodical approach to clerical tasks.
