Location: Moy, Dungannon

Job Purpose:

As an Assembly Operative at VickerStock, you will be responsible for the accurate assembly of mechanical components, adhering to safety, quality, and production standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment, assembling aggregate system components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assemble aggregate system components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
  2. Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to fit, fasten, and install parts.
  3. Inspect and test completed units for functionality and quality assurance.
  4. Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  5. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
  6. Identify and report defects, malfunctions, or issues in assembly processes.
  7. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workstation and assembly area.
  8. Work in accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing role, preferably in heavy equipment or machinery. You will also need to be skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement instruments. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality are essential.
