Assembly Technician

At VickerStock, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operative, Car Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the accurate assembly of mechanical components, adhering to safety, quality, and production standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble aggregate system components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to fit, fasten, and install parts.
- Inspect and test completed units for functionality and quality assurance.
- Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Identify and report defects, malfunctions, or issues in assembly processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workstation and assembly area.
- Work in accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing role, preferably in heavy equipment or machinery.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Physically fit to lift and handle heavy parts and materials.
