About the Company

Our client, a leading manufacturing provider, Detail 2 Recruitment Ltd, are seeking a Crane Maintenance Specialist who has good knowledge and experience of electrical and/or mechanical service work to join their expanding team.

As a Crane Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for inspections, repairs, maintenance and modernisation of all types of overhead cranes, hoists, and other industrial equipment. This will involve ensuring the safe and efficient operation of these systems, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks to prevent downtime and extend the lifespan of the equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of overhead cranes and other industrial equipment to identify potential issues and recommend repairs or maintenance

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of worn parts

• Repair and replace damaged or faulty components, including electrical and mechanical systems

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing process

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure the optimal performance of the equipment

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices in crane maintenance and repair

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including overhead cranes and hoists

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with other team members

• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a strong sense of safety and risk awareness
