About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of respiratory physiologists at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trusts.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to work in our lung function and sleep diagnostics departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of respiratory and sleep physiological measurements, as well as basic administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform respiratory and sleep physiological measurements to appropriate standards and in accordance with local and national guidelines.
  • Complete basic administrative paperwork, including some handwritten tasks, in a neat and legible manner.
  • Work as part of a team to complete high-volume daily clinical workload.

Requirements

  • GCSE grade C or above in English language, mathematics, and biology/science.
  • Experience of working with the general public and in a hospital environment.
  • Good verbal skills, sympathetic and caring manner, and evidence of work-based tact and diplomacy.
  • Physically fit, able to stand for long periods, and maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.
