About the Role:

As a Physiotherapy Functional Assessor at Maximus, you will use your clinical expertise to assess individuals with disabilities or health conditions, understanding how their condition affects their daily life.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong communication and clinical skills. You will work closely with customers to gather information about their condition, medical history, and daily activities, producing detailed reports to help determine eligibility for benefits.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Estimated salary: £37,800 per year.
  • No bank holidays, evenings, or weekends.
  • Leading maternity and paternity paid leave.
  • Bank holidays plus 25 days' holiday with the option to buy or sell 5 days.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to understand how an individual's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
  • Produce Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions determine a person's eligibility for benefits.
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with regular feedback and supervision.
