Mad 4 Recruitment Limited is a leading recruitment agency that partners with schools across Cheshire to find dedicated Teaching Assistants for various roles. We are currently working with schools seeking experienced professionals to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their academic journey.
About the RoleThis full-time, long-term position offers the opportunity to work closely with children, develop your skills, and make a real difference in their lives. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with SEN and hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification. Excellent knowledge of the curriculum and assessment frameworks is also essential.
Key Responsibilities- To provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting their learning and well-being.
- To work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a supportive classroom environment.
- To maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents/guardians.
The successful candidate will possess:
- A relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g., NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3).
- Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
- Previous experience working with children in the last 2 years.
- Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Experience working with pupils with SEN.
- Two references working with children.
- A current DBS registration or willingness to apply for one.
