This is an exciting opportunity to join Companies House as we embark on a new era of compliance and enforcement. Our organization is undergoing significant changes, including the implementation of the new Register of Overseas Entities and the Economic Crime (Transparency and Enforcement Act) 2022 and the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Compliance and Enforcement Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the Case Management System workstream within our overall Powers and Sanctions Project.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement our approach to compliance, utilizing our new compliance framework.
- Drive organizational delivery against key service metrics, ensuring statutory requirements are met and non-compliance is dealt with robustly and proportionately.
- Collaborate with our Lead Prosecutor to create and develop new service streams.
- Work closely with Intelligence Hub colleagues to set the strategic and tactical direction for operational colleagues.
- Develop and manage internal Service Level Agreements that deliver to Service Owner's requirements.
- Identify and prioritize delivery issues and track service metrics to ensure continued value for money.
- Understand customer insight and user research relating to the service and translate these into service improvements.
- Define the benefits and outcomes for service improvements and track delivery.
- Monitor the budget to ensure the service is operating within agreed parameters.
- Experience of working in a compliance, enforcement, or service delivery role.
- Significant experience of leading project teams to deliver and iterate MS Dynamics case management systems.
- Proven record in capturing full user requirements across the business (operational, digital, security, enforcement, etc.).
- Track record in delivering at pace for key milestones, including financial approvals and project gates.
- Experience of strategic thinking and leadership.
- The ability to develop effective working relationships and engage with staff and a range of stakeholders at all levels to achieve the desired service outcomes.
- The ability to clearly articulate vision and strategy and use influencing skills to obtain buy-in and engagement from others, internal and external to Companies House.
