About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Controller to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Payroll Controller, you will be responsible for processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for clients from various industries, including starters and leavers, setting up new PAYE schemes with HMRC, and managing auto-enrolment on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payrolls for clients from various industries
  • Manage starters and leavers, including setting up new PAYE schemes with HMRC
  • Enrol employees and manage auto-enrolment on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis
  • Provide excellent communication skills and be computer literate, ideally with a knowledge of Sage

Requirements

  • At least two years of payroll experience, ideally gained within a firm of accountants
  • Excellent communication skills and be computer literate, ideally with a knowledge of Sage
