We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Account Director to lead our growing Ecommerce practice and deepen our partnerships with Amazon. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success, who can drive advanced client engagement, identify new opportunities, and support sales and revenue growth.

This individual will work closely with the senior EMEA team to design, grow, and manage our expanding Ecommerce offering. Key responsibilities include attracting and retaining existing clients, providing strategic SME support on Amazon and other Ecommerce platforms, and ensuring excellent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage current Amazon and Ecommerce client engagements in EMEA to drive growth and revenue.
  • Develop and grow our future Ecommerce business at Monks, leveraging expertise in Amazon and other platforms.
  • Optimise our existing systems and processes to maximise opportunities for Amazon and Ecommerce monetisation.
  • Support the development of our Amazon account teams, deploying resources to ensure we are best positioned for revenue growth.
  • Drive category-level performance across all digital brands and geographical markets.
  • Analyse our current Amazon strategy and implement tangible actions to drive better performance.
  • Review the entire customer journey and identify client opportunities.
  • Share knowledge and Ecommerce expertise with the wider team, leading by example.
  • Monitor industry trends and ensure we are well-positioned to capitalise and take action.

About You:

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in paid media, retail, consulting, and/or analytics, with a recent specialism in Ecommerce, particularly in marketplaces and e-retail with a focus on Amazon.
  • A strong understanding of Amazon Advertising media platforms, Amazon Sponsored Ads, and Amazon DSP.
  • A deep understanding of sales and marketing operations to identify how Monks can deliver operational excellence and delight clients.
  • Experience in other Ecommerce platforms like Criteo, as well as AMZ, is highly favourable.
  • Effective written communication and presentation skills.
  • Digital expertise across brand and performance metrics.
  • Confidence to make decisions and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
  • Passion for digital and data, with knowledge of the latest industry trends and news.
  • Experience managing a team with multiple layers of management.
