Role - SEN Teaching Professional in Primary Mainstream School

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled SEN Teacher to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting children across the Primary Year groups with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a Primary Mainstream setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Class Teachers in delivering high-quality education to pupils with SEN.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as Speech Therapists and Occupational Therapists, to provide comprehensive support.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents/guardians.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of SEND policies and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Highly motivated and adaptable individual with a passion for education.
