Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Primary Teacher with experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Bristol. This role presents an opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of children who require tailored support and adapted teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons within the national curriculum while addressing the complex ASC & SEMH needs of pupils.
  • Collaborate with the class team to facilitate inclusive learning opportunities and promote positive behaviors.
  • Monitor pupil progress, share concerns with school staff, and ensure their unique needs are met.
  • Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities, such as extracurricular events and school trips.
  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, driving interaction and positive learning outcomes.

Requirements

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous successful teaching experience, preferably in an SEN setting.
  • A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
  • The ability to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to commencing work.

Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of £28,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
