We are seeking an experienced SEN teacher to join our team in the South of Bristol area.

About the Job:
  • This role requires an educator to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, using adapted teaching methods in a SEN school located in the South of Bristol.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and deliver high-quality lessons within the national curriculum, taking into account the complex needs of pupils.
  2. Support the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
  3. Report on pupils' progress and concerns, and collaborate with other School staff to ensure pupils' needs are met.
  4. Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including extra-curricular activities and school trips.
  5. Build positive relationships with pupils and drive interaction and positive learning outcomes.
What We Offer:
  1. A competitive salary of $55,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements:
  1. Holds qualified teacher status (QTS).
  2. Has previous successful teaching experience.
  3. Has some previous experience working with pupils with SEND within an educational setting.
  4. Is committed to professional development and willing to learn.
  5. Must be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Baring Service (DBS) check prior to commencing work.
