About the Opportunity:

Paradigm Housing is seeking a talented Programmes Manager - Planned Works to lead our £10 million refurbishment programme, focused on delivering high-quality improvements to customers' homes. This is a critical role, requiring strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and a passion for delivering excellent results.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction to the Planned Works Team, driving continuous improvement and innovation in property upgrades.
  • Manage a budget of £10 million, overseeing all programmes to ensure they stay on track and within financial parameters.
  • Collaborate with Asset Management and Investment Delivery teams to implement cost-efficient, high-quality planned works, enhancing the quality of homes and services delivered to customers.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory health and safety regulations, prioritizing the well-being of customers and staff.
  • Drive change and improvement by identifying and implementing innovative practices and systems, inspiring and managing your team to achieve high standards.
  • Act as a key point of escalation for unresolved complaints and issues, focusing on customer satisfaction and delivering exceptional results.

Requirements:

  • Master's level education or substantial leadership experience in a senior role, ideally within social housing maintenance or property services, demonstrating expertise in property upgrades and refurbishments.
  • Commercial acumen and strategic thinking, with a proven track record of improving performance and efficiency in property management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, able to inspire and manage change, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant compliance legislation, health and safety, and contractor management practices, ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Experience with project management, financial reporting, and IT systems, supporting data-driven decision-making.

Salary and Benefits:

A competitive salary of £65,000-£80,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive team environment.
