Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to contribute to our team's success in delivering high-quality services. Our expertise lies in developing and implementing APIs, as well as creating front-end systems for both consumer and business-focused applications.

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will work closely with our development and business teams to develop and execute test plans, identify risks, and communicate issues clearly and concisely. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in adapting to changing requirements and refining our testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing requirements documentation to determine testing needs
  • Collaborating with development and business teams to develop test cases
  • Participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Executing test cases and reporting defects with defined severity and priority
  • Tailoring QA approaches based on priority and time constraints
  • Carrying out regression testing during release cycles
  • Adhering to our testing process defined in HTG

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Software Quality Assurance
  • API testing experience is a plus, but not necessary
  • Background in the travel industry is ideal, but not required
  • Experience with bug tracking software, such as Jira
  • Knowledge of REST API testing tools, like Postman
  • Experience with test case management tools, e.g. TestRail, Zephyr
  • Comfortable working on the Linux Command Line and running SQL Server queries
