Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at HolidayTaxis Group and contribute to the delivery of our roadmap of scalable services. Our core business revolves around APIs, including developing our own and implementing partner APIs, as well as front-end systems catering to both consumers and businesses.

The ideal candidate will work closely with our agile development principles, implementing test plans and test cases that adapt to evolving applications and refined requirements.

We are looking for a team player who can identify risks and communicate issues/bugs clearly and concisely within a release cycle.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Read and analyze requirements documentation to determine testing needs.
  • Collaborate with development and business teams to develop test cases for review and execution.
  • Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other team sessions.
  • Execute test cases and report defects, defining severity and priority without delay.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Communicate issues, discrepancies, and blockers effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Perform regression testing on the platform during release cycles.
  • Adapt QA approach based on factors such as priority and time.
  • Adhere to the testing process defined by HolidayTaxis Group.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Software Quality Assurance.
  • Desirable: API testing experience.
  • Ideal background in the travel industry, but not necessary.
  • Experience with bug tracking software, e.g., Jira.
  • Knowledge of REST API testing tools, e.g., Postman.
  • Experience using test case management tools, e.g., TestRail, Zephyr.
  • Comfortable with Linux Command Line and SQL Server queries.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Well-organized with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills to explain complex systems and behaviors to internal and external teams.
