About the Opportunity

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Enhanced Rehabilitation Outreach Service (EROS) team as a Rehabilitation Specialist.

This role offers the chance to work with a dynamic and ambitious team of professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with complex mental health needs.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with service users, families, and carers to develop personalized rehabilitation plans that promote independence, hope, and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify individualized needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans that promote independence, hope, and recovery.
  • Work collaboratively with service users, families, and carers to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to junior staff members, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative rehabilitation services and programs.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in occupational therapy from an accredited institution.
  • State registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Post-registration experience in a relevant clinical setting, preferably with individuals with mental health conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices, including evidence-based assessment and intervention techniques.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
