Tax Director

Armstrong Knight is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Accounting and Tax to join our team. As a key member of our financial services department, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and guidance to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of high net worth clients, providing personalized tax planning and compliance services.
- Prepare and review personal and corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise tax advice and guidance.
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, resolving any tax-related issues or disputes.
- Assist with tax advisory projects, including restructuring, remuneration planning, and tax credits.
- Supervise and train junior team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent tax services.
- Preferably ATT/CTA Part or Fully Qualified, or equivalent experience and qualifications.
- Strong literacy and numerical skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of 3 years practice experience in a mixed tax role, with a strong base of corporate tax knowledge.
- Good up-to-date technical knowledge, including recent developments in the tax arena.
- Ability to work well under pressure, with a strong client-focused approach.
