As a Team Lead at Thrifty Car & Van Rental, you will play a key role in driving customer satisfaction and loyalty while ensuring seamless branch operations.
Main Tasks:- Convert sales opportunities into revenue-generating activities, contributing to business growth and profitability.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for team members, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
- Oversee all branch procedures and processes, ensuring compliance with audit criteria and minimizing risks.
- Collaborate with Senior Location Manager and colleagues to achieve branch KPI objectives, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication.
- Safeguard branch assets and maintain a safe working environment by promptly reporting risks or security events.
- Manage time proactively to ensure branch performance meets targets, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources efficiently.
- May require flexible working arrangements, including working at other locations within a reasonable distance.
- Adhere to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) rules and stay vigilant against potential cybersecurity threats, protecting sensitive information.
- Represent Thrifty Car & Van Rental as an ambassador, promoting company interests at all times, showcasing expertise and professionalism.
- Complete regular training on our platform, staying up-to-date with industry developments and enhancing skills.
- Report all accidents/incidents following company guidelines, maintaining transparency and accountability.
- Regularly review and update risk and COSHH assessments, considering changes in processes, equipment, or legislation, mitigating risks and ensuring a safe working environment.

- Previous experience in the car rental industry or a related field, leveraging expertise and knowledge.
- Excellent communication and administrative skills, facilitating effective teamwork and collaboration.
- Computer skills (email, spreadsheets, and the ability to learn/use in-house systems), embracing technology and innovation.
- Full driving licence (held for 12 months at least), ensuring reliable transportation and mobility.
