Deputy Local Service Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Local Service Manager to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living. As a Deputy Local Service Manager, you will play a key role in managing, recruiting, developing, and training staff within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality support to our customers.
- Recruit and select staff who share our values and are committed to delivering excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement effective staff rotas to ensure that our customers receive the support they need.
- Promote best practice and ensure that our services are delivered in a way that meets the needs of our customers.
- Ensure that our organization operates in a fully compliant way and that we meet all relevant legislative requirements.
- Support the Local Service Manager in managing the void process on any empty properties.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and external agencies to ensure that we are providing the best possible support.
- Proven management or supervisory experience gained within a social care environment.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Compassionate, understanding, and hard working with a hands-on approach to help achieve supportive outcomes.
- Good written and strong communication skills.
- Experience working with Mental Health.
- Prior knowledge of support planning, risk assessment, and safeguarding.
- Previous experience working under challenging circumstances.
- Confident user of IT systems.
