We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Local Service Manager to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living. As a Deputy Local Service Manager, you will play a key role in managing, recruiting, developing, and training staff within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality support to our customers.
  • Promote best practice and ensure that our services are delivered in a way that meets the needs of our customers.
  • Ensure that our organization operates in a fully compliant way and that we have effective support systems in place.
  • Support the Local Service Manager in managing the void process on any empty properties.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and external agencies.
  • Occasional travel may be required, therefore a full valid driving licence is desirable.
Requirements:
  • Proven management or supervisory experience gained within a social care environment.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Compassionate, understanding, and hard working with a hands-on approach to help achieve supportive outcomes.
  • Good written and strong communication skills.
  • Experience working with Mental Health.
  • Prior knowledge of support planning, risk assessment, and safeguarding.
  • Previous experience working under challenging circumstances.
  • Confident user of IT systems.
