Role Overview

As a First Article Inspection Reports Preparer, you will play a critical role in supporting our customer's short-term project in Luton.

Your primary responsibility will be to prepare high-quality First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in compliance with customer and AS9102 requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the customer's inspection requirements.
  • Collaborate with customer personnel to obtain necessary documentation.
  • Prepare detailed reports highlighting any issues or discrepancies found during the inspection process.
  • Communicate effectively with the customer's quality, engineering, and design teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of the inspection process and results.

Your Essential Skills

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in aerospace quality engineering or manufacturing engineering.
  • Extensive knowledge of AS9102 and a solid understanding of AS9100.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications and custom databases.
  • UK Nationality due to program security restrictions.
