About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Partner to join our dynamic team at Ocado Logistics. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a pivotal role in driving people initiatives, fostering employee engagement, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a comprehensive people generalist service to key customers within defined logistic functions.
  • Drive people solutions, including engagement, listening, and communications, performance management, L&D interventions, talent management, and more.
  • Collaborate with line managers on both immediate and long-term objectives, employment legislation, employee data, and trends.
  • Utilise leadership and development skills to partner with line management, ensuring a continuous focus on employees' experience and contribution.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations and trend analysis to influence leaders and improve performance, attendance, retention, and the overall employee experience.
  • Collaborate with Centres of Excellence to develop and execute people strategies and products for the success of our business.
  • Lead and participate in projects and working groups to ensure the design of people products meets end users' needs.
  • Embrace change positively and influence a brave appetite for innovation within your client area.
  • Provide performance management expertise, interpreting and advising on relevant employment legislation.
  • Act as an Employee Relations subject matter expert, supporting management in disciplinary, grievance, appeal meetings, and attendance management.
  • Generate Workday reports for monthly payroll amendments and manage absence tracking.
About You
  • Broad People Generalist experience: ER, recruitment, L&D, engagement.
  • Effective communication at all employee levels, including upward communication.
  • Strong leadership, relationship management, and people management skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical capability.
  • Ability to translate operational goals into HR capabilities for successful results.
  • Confident decision-maker with the ability to work independently.
  • Good organisation and delegation skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and make the best use of limited resources.
  • Effective networking, mediation, and negotiation skills.
  • Conflict resolution experience.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • PC literate - proficiency in Google Suite, HR databases, and systems (e.g., Workday).
  • Flexible approach to working hours to support a 24/7 business operation.
  • CIPD qualified.
