We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Services Team Lead to join our team at Mitsubishi Electric. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of key business and HR deliverables.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a first point of contact for managers and colleagues on operational people issues, providing comprehensive generalist advice and guidance.
- Manage, motivate, and develop the People Services Coordinators to ensure delivery excellence and consistency in people management and operations.
- Proactively use MI reports to identify trends and patterns, highlighting any issues to Senior HR Business Partners.
- Responsible for absence management, carrying out monthly reviews of absence data and providing proactive advice to managers on attendance and performance issues.
- Liaise with occupational health providers in terms of ill-health referrals or general support/counselling.
- Work closely with Junior HR Business Partners and People Services Coordinators to ensure consistency of application of policy and process across the MEU-UK branch.
- Conduct exit interviews with leavers and provide insights and recommendations to the HR and business teams.
