Smile Education is proud to partner with The Endeavour Trust to support one of their exceptional schools in their search for a Special Education Needs Support Professional. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students aged 11 to 19 years old with a variety of special educational needs, including Specific Learning Difficulty (SpLD), Visual Impairment (VI), Hearing Impairment (HI), Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN), Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH), Physical Disability (PD), Moderate Learning Difficulty (MLD), and Severe Learning Difficulty (SLD).

About the Role

This position involves working alongside a dedicated and professional team to support pupils' educational, social, and emotional development.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must demonstrate recent SEND experience, particularly working with challenging behaviour, a strong understanding of the curriculum, and the ability to adapt it to meet pupils' needs, commitment to full-time hours, and the ability to integrate seamlessly within a large professional team, as well as a current enhanced DBS check or a willingness to apply for one.

Salary and Benefits

We can estimate the salary range to be around £28,000-£38,000 per annum, depending on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package that includes a competitive salary, pension scheme, and opportunities for career progression.
