The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at one of our partner schools in Wolverhampton. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Our ideal candidate must have recent experience working with challenging behaviour, a strong understanding of the curriculum, and a commitment to full-time hours.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils' educational, social, and emotional development
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop tailored learning plans
- Provide assistance with daily activities, such as personal care and mobility
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Recent experience working with SEND pupils
- Strong understanding of the curriculum and ability to adapt it to meet pupils' needs
- Commitment to full-time hours and seamless integration within a large professional team
- A current enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply
