Job Description

At Service Care Solutions, we are committed to empowering young people aged 16-21 to live independently, safely, and happily within the community. As an Independent Living Assistant, you will play a vital role in achieving this mission.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering tailored support packages to young people, working closely with our dynamic team to empower them to reach their full potential. This may involve:

  • Conducting initial assessments, safety planning, and action plans with young people.
  • Supporting young people with essential living skills, including budgeting, cooking, and attending appointments.
  • Managing housing and property tasks, ensuring high standards are maintained and minimizing voids.
  • Promoting engagement with education, training, or employment opportunities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, supporting young people with diverse needs.
  • Knowledge of housing management, safeguarding, and support planning.
  • Able to engage and inspire difficult-to-reach young people.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £16.57 per hour (LTD) or £14.13 per hour (PAYE), plus holiday pay.
